I was going over my firearms to see what my 14 yr daughter was going to use for her first deer season...
I am seriously considering my Ruger Deerslayer.....
What I am really curious about is what this particular gun might be worth..
It is a early to mid 1967 manufacture according to the serial number 115***
The gun sports a real nice walnut fingergroove stock with very nice checkering...
I don't know when Ruger stopped checkering these stocks....
I would put the gun in 8.5-9/10 condition mostly due to finish wear on the stock... not scratches just finish wear.
I have no intention of selling it as my daughter will be getting all my firearms when I am called to that great hunting preserve...
Anyone willing to venture a value...
