My dad passed away a few years ago and left me his carbine. I've looked at the asking prices and starting bids. As it is (if I'm not breaking any rules) I want to know what a fair selling price would be if I listed it LOCALLY here in south Florida?

My dad was the original owner bought new I guess in the 60's. Any help would be appreciated.

Deerstalker?
S/N would help us date it and age makes a difference.
Shooter grade or new in box?

I did a gun show last weekend and another vendor had two 44 carbines on his table. He was asking 750 for one and 850 for the other with factory peep sight. Both clean shooter condition with no boxes or manuals. Neither one sold. If I didn't already have my Dad's 1962 model and wasn't trying to thin my own herd I would have grabbed one.

I'm in the Sarasota/Manatee area and might be interested… 1964 is my birth year.
Man, it seems like everyone with a cool gun is up thataway :) I found a BFR in Clearwater I'd like but it's just way too much driving from (between West palm beach and Fort Lauderdale) north Broward county.

Those are pretty good prices. Those dealers should sell online because it seems as if it would be well worth their time for a $200 to $300+ uplift.

A sample of GB 15 actual sales of those without a factory peep sight (throwing out the highest $1435 and lowest of $855) not counting those with scopes, shipping cost, tax, or transfer fees comes out to $1050.

Recall when they were selling for $119 new eons ago. Now around me at least $600 or more for one. Best deer/hog brush gun in my opinion.

Sold a real nice one on GB early last year with 5 magazines for 1875. Glad that 2 people wanted it. It was a Deerfield.
