Just got off the phone with Rugers customer service. I was looking for a rear sight blade for my Bisley Blackhawk. ( white outline ) With my aging eyes , I need all the help I can get. Spoke to the rep about my problem , he looked up the part number then cross referenced it to other sights. He finally found one that he thinks will fit. After taking my info, I dug out my Visa and was prepared to give him my number....when he said , "no charge, we'll get that out right away ". How can ya beat that. This isn't the first time I've had excellant service. I sent in ( at their request ) a SP-101 for an accuracy problem. It was shooting 6-8 inches left at 15 yds. They ended up calling me and saying they had found another problem and were replacing the entire weapon.....at no charge. All I had too pay was the FFL fees on my end. Six or eight years ago I sent in a Ruger SRH in 454 , every now and again it would bind up........they replaced the cylinder , crane and as they out it....various internal parts....yes , this was a definate warrenty problem ..but no hassle , they fixed it.
I hope there's someone from Ruger reading this or monitoring this......Thanks for an American Company and a great product that a blue-coller worker can afford. And I might add...terrific service.
