This subject has probably been posted a number of times, but I just had to rehash it.
Ruger has the best Customer service I have ever delt with in my 70 years. A coupla years ago, I sent them 2 NM Blackhawks, a .45 Colt and a .41 Mag, .45 I had bought new in '98, the .41 was a GB purchase, manufactured in '86. Both had some cylinder issues. They took both completely down and cleaned them, replaced a weak loading gate spring on the .41, took care of the cylinder issues, sent them back, all at no charge.
I recently picked up an OM Blackhawk .41 mag that had some barrel issues. Sent it to them, they re-barreled it, put a new ejector rh on it, went through it as before, re-blued the whole gun, sent it back at no charge. The frame also had gelded top frame screw holes from someone using an oversized screwdriver. No more! Floored me!!! I can't sing their praises loud enough!
The top left is the OM .41, bottom left is my OM .357 that has the front sight issue. Top right is .45 NM, bottom right is .41 NM. I put after market grips on them to save my middle finger from the Blackhawk knuckle! Neither of the OM's seem to be knuckle crunchers.
Thanks, Ruger for a wonderful experience. Everyone I delt with was professional, but not snobbish professional. So rare in today's world..
