I have a SBH that shoots 6-8 inches high at 25-50yds with the rear sight screwed all the way down. I called customer service yesterday, and they are sending out a Hunter sight .390 to me free of charge. Sweet. Ok, now how do I get the pin out (I don't have a vice, or punch).

get yourself to a hardware store, buy a punch (brass preferrably, appropriate size). Stabilize the muzzle, tape off the blued finish if you lack hammer skills. Tap the punch slowly and lightly with a small hammer or the butt of a SA revolver.

Gramps,

I just did this...I'll post directions tonight. You'll need a 1/16" punch and drill bit to complete it.

With what you describe in your tools and ability,,,

My advise is find a local Gunsmith and give him some Cash, Denero, Quid, Bucks, Green.
You do have to drill the new one and it's a 1/16 drill bit, they snap off easy.

The cost of the correct punch, new sharp drip bit, clamp, mallet, file, drop of cutting oil, and what ever else you might need.

Just as easy to drop it off at the Gunsmith..... IMO
