Ruger compact recoil pad

Hey everybody! Just picked up a ruger compact in 243, was lucky and got some really nice wood. I would like to add a recoil pad to make it fit me a bit better. Does anybody know a company that makes a prefit one or am I stuck with a grind to fit? And there is now way I am putting a slip on one over this pretty wood! Thanks!

To each his own. I put on a slip-on pad on my compact (7mm-08) in the summer and then take it off in the winter. Makes up for the thickness of the clothes I wear.

I looked into this and I didn't find any that were pre-fit so grinding was required. I went with a slip-on limbsaver
