I'm thinking about buying a new Ruger Bisley 7.5" 45colt blued adj. sights for $691.00 out the door. I want to know if this is a decent price or not.
I've always wanted one & a LGS has one.
I know I've seen a couple on here that were stainless or vaqueros or in 44 or 357 cheaper but the one I listed is the one I've been wanting.

I recently bought a stainless NIB dual cylinder .45 Bisley in 5 1/2" in the neighborhood of $550 on GB. I'd check around a little more.

Yea I know I've seen the stainless & vaqueros cheaper too.
To tell you the truth I can't remember ever seeing a 7.5" blued 45colt f/s on here.
Are they more rare?

I recently bought a Bisley 7 1/2" .45 Colt in a LGS for the same reason. First time I've ever seen one around here, so snapped it up. I paid around $620 for mine if I remember correctly.

Here is where I bought mine.

I had it in about 3 days. :D

I've never bought a gun online.
Do you just call them up & place an order?
Or does a FFL holder have to order it for you.

Depends I suppose, my FFL gave me a pdf of his certificate. So I order the gun, they hold the gun until they have the certificate via e-mail, and then send gun to the FFL. How I've done it in the past. Just call and see how they work it.

I certainly don't like ordering a gun on-line. I'd rather check it out in the 'store' before buying, therefore another FFL I use, he will the order the gun himself and get it in for me if in stock. I get a call to go pick it up when it comes in. Of course that isn't 'working' with finding the Bearcat 'shop keeper'..... Still haven't heard from my FFL on that one!

Just ordered one from Buds Gun Shop. $595 with the insurance.
And it's only gonna cost me $15 for the registration through a local dealer.
I did go back to the LGS & asked if that was the lowest price he could go on the one he had. He said yes, that the price was as low as it could go.
If he would've come within $25 of Buds I probably would have bought it.
But $81 I wouldn't do. I'll use the $81 for a holster.
I will say that LGS does have the best prices & stock on reloading supply's & ammo.
And in the past 10 months have spent $1000 if not more in that store.

Will this new Bisley have a safety lock under the grip?
It's no biggy to me if it does, just wondering.

I don't think the Bisley will have the internal lock. Mine doesn't and it was made in 2012.

I bet after all that money you probably know the sales guys there too. How come they couldn't be more reasonable on their price of the Bisley considering you've spent so much money there? I know reloading accessories and supplies are expensive, but they should have been more fair on the price of the gun.

I don't hold the price of the gun against them.
I should say its not a mom & pop LGS. But it isn't a chain either.
And I'll continue to shop there but if I want a new gun I'm definitely compare prices with Buds first.

Recieved my early B-Day present to my self. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, maybe later this evening. So far so good. And no internal lock.
