When Ruger converted Bearcats to transfer bars did they also replace the trigger and cylinder lock springs as was done with Blackhawks?

Yes they replaced all the same parts as well as the hammer.

There is a retrofit kit for converting Old Model Bearcats (1958 - 1970) and Old Model Super Bearcats (steel frame, 1971 - 1974) like the kit for the other Old Model single actions.

The "New Bearcat" introduced in 1993, comes with the transfer bar safety kit installed (the gun wasn't redesigned like the other single actions in 1973).

The tell tale clue that an Old Model Bearcat/Super Bearcat has been fitted with the retrofit kit or that it's a New Bearcat with the transfer bar action is that all three have a wide spur hammer like the Super Blackhawk.

My '73 Old Model Super Bearcat with retrofit transfer bar kit hammer only* installed. The square top grips are homemade.

* with a very slight modification made to the hammer nose, the wide spur hammer can be used in old model Bearcats without all the other transfer bar safety kit parts.

Thanks.
I have done the same thing in the past. The only good thing I can say is that the regret I felt kept me from making the same mistake a couple of more times since then!

it had been used hard , not horrible but i wouldnt say it was great , had some dings ,scratches , and wear , i felt $500 was a big ask
