Another gimmick to sell 10/22s?

I think they are following Henrys lead. Once they buy the machine to “carve” the stock’s it’s just programing and pushing a button.

Henry has made boat loads of special editions.

Actually,, I'd bet that Orion being a new distributor,, there may have been a bit of marketing discussions on BOTH sides. Orion places the order, gets all of them, and for those who collect & such,, quick sales. It may also be a way to get dealers to sign up as Orion customers. Sign up, and be able to get one of these limited edition guns.

Not just Ruger making money,, but Orion as well.

I don't know why people get upset or suprised by this sort of thing. The name of the game is to sell guns and make money. The more guns you sell the more money you make. Look at the Wrangler. I was a scoffer in the begining, but now have 3! You never know what is going to trip someones trigger and make them decide to buy a new gun.

In the upper left corner of the picture, on the stock, it looks like it says either 236 of 300 or 36 of 300. But it looks like a limited edition. I wouldn't want one, but if someone worked for either Ruger or Orion, I bet they sure would want one. I can see them selling all 300 examples of it.

All these different models, the Blue Book of Gun value is going to have to become twice as thick.
