I have avoided the Ruger American rifles since they are not really my cup of tea. Kind of a "blued steel and walnut" guy for the most part. But I am seeing these rifles at very appealing prices and thinking of picking one up as a rough weather gun in .243 or .22-250. What is the difference between the Predator and the standard American? Is it just the color of the stock? Also, what is the general opinion of these rifles from those who own them?
