Ruger American Compact Stainlesss 223 Sight In

I finally got a chance today to get my Ruger American compact stainless in 223 on paper. Was about 46 degrees and a little windy. I did not have a load worked up for it so I used some 223 ammo I purchased a couple of years ago at Cabela's on sale.



I set up a target at 100 yards and took a couple shot to get it on the paper. Once on the paper, here is how it shot



I was not expecting this accuracy out of the box with no load development but am very pleased.

i have the predator in 223 topped with the nikon p-223 bdc 600 and i get very similar results with mine.
i love this rifle and scope combo.
cant keep it out of the grand kids hand now that they have shot it.

Appears to be Rugers version of the Remington 788. Impressive!

Good shooting! It looks like you use the same shooting range that I do. Nothing like shooting off the back deck. A few years back I had to drive 15 miles to a range.
