I was wondering what is driving the high prices of the zytel stocked rugers these days , I just followed up on a local add for a 22 lr and 22 wmr for sale - both skeleton stocked and near mint condition . bought both , they seem to be good shooters .

It's always the same, the product ages, everyone has one, sales slow down and it gets discontinued. Then all the guys like me who didn't buy one wish we had and bid the prices up. Davidsons has a bunch of non catagloged blue, with new type plastic stock in mag, and I think I will snag one--while they are still reasonable. Note the current panic is sending the price of EVERYTHING up.

I sold my last one a month ago... not sure why folks suddenly find them so valuable, but hey, I wasn't using it and the money is always nice.
