Ruger 44 Carbine screws?

:?: Where could I get the 4 scope base hole filler screws for the old 44 carbine? It was shipped in 1969 and those 4 screws are gone. Thanks in advance.

The holes will take standard scope mount filler plug screws (6-48, IIRC) - and any gunsmith, and certainly many hobbyists, would have a jar-full in their scrounge box.

Gunsmiths in my area will generally let someone have a set for litttle or no $$$$.
