My wife bought me a Red label O/U ,28 gauge for Xmas of 1996, serial #420-16750 with 26" barrels.

When Ruger offerded the Briley .410 Conversion Tubes I was unable to find a set in 26",everyone had 28"er's. Then they dried up and i found very few the last one being on the forum here but again the wrong length.

After all these years a set poped up on ebay a couple of months ago and I lucked out,Absolutley NIB.
Does anyone out there have any idea how many sets were made, and the time frame of production?
Thanks in advance for any info.

If my memory serves me right the tubes were made by Briley and I also believe that the chokes tubes were made by Briley at one time.

Thats correct! I don't think these were offered for to long, and as I said I've seen all 28" barrel conversions, only seen one other set fo 26" and those were not for sale. These only came with SK/SK ,chokes as far as I know.
Thanks Terry

I was thinking I had seen them on Gunbroker pretty regularly for years. I didn't pay much attention to the length. My 28 gauge came with a set.
