Ruger #3 in 375 win

Mine shoots high at 50 yds with the original rear sight all the way down. Is there a better rear sight on the market that would allow more adjustments.. How about a good peep sight, dont want to scope it, not my hunting rifle just a tin can and paper puncher at 50 to 60 yards. :

I had one purchased new in the 90s. I put on a higher front sight, cheaper and easier to find than a lower rear sight....if one even exists.
