Here is my ruger 10/22 .17hm2 conversion I have a green mountain 96/22 17in barrel sporter barrel with a heavy handle and spring is there nothing else to purchase as of right now?

I'd suggest a good Bore-snake. I've found that running a snake thru the bore about every box of ammo keeps the chamber clean and prevents any partially seated rounds from being ignited, which can lead to case-head bulges and even ruptures.

I run the same type GM Mach 2 barrel on one of my 10/22s and found that adding a heavy hammer spring (I used one for the 10/22 Magnum) also helped keep the bolt closed until the pressure had dropped. I would get an occasional swelled case-head even in squeaky clean chamber, before I added the heavy hammer spring... not an issue since.

I made one as well. Used an ER Shaw barrel and a Magnum Research bolt handle. Painted it up to the intended theme and put it all in a Boyd's Blaster stock. Initial Hornady ammo had case failures but Eley/Remington stuff shoots fantastic.
