I'd suggest a good Bore-snake. I've found that running a snake thru the bore about every box of ammo keeps the chamber clean and prevents any partially seated rounds from being ignited, which can lead to case-head bulges and even ruptures.
I run the same type GM Mach 2 barrel on one of my 10/22s and found that adding a heavy hammer spring (I used one for the 10/22 Magnum) also helped keep the bolt closed until the pressure had dropped. I would get an occasional swelled case-head even in squeaky clean chamber, before I added the heavy hammer spring... not an issue since.
