Helpful for replacing springs, but other than that I have no idea.

I don’t keep track of mine, most were used when I got them. I replace springs and figure I will never wear them out again.

A spring may last 500 rounds or 5000 rounds. I am of the old adage of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."

Agree 100%. It was the most useful reason to count rounds I could come up with. I don’t count rounds.

My younger brother and I would shoot 500 to a 1000 rounds a week each through our 1022s. We did that for years. Who knows how many rounds total. And never wore out either of our 1022's. Ammo was $8.99 to $9.99 for a brick of Federal Lightnings back then.
