Ross gun package..

Ruger 357 Blackhawk "flattop" Ross variation, serial number 14909, shipped June 1956.. Shown with box, warranty card, early Single Six instruction manual and the single sheet insert Ruger added for the 357 Blackhawk revolver (Ruger still only had Single Six manuals, had yet to create the manual for Single Six and Lightweights and Blackhawks at this point). Fitted with a nice set of factory ivory grips, with lots of yellowing and neat age cracks...

I would LOVE to find a box and the paperwork for the Ross gun T.A. pointed out to me! What do you do Mike, cruise the old folks home looking for retired folks that look like they use to shoot or something? :lol: My dad had an older friend/hunting buddy that moved to a senior living estate and he constantly showed up with a trunk full of model 70's, model 12's, an occasion SxS that he would offer to dad. Mom HATED it when Stan showed up! :x

Never thought about the old folks homes... might give that a try! The boxes are a little tough to find, but they pop up here and there..the single sheet insert for the manual is darn hard to find though..as are the ivories.. took a long time to find this pair.. it was the first pair I bought after looking for quite some time!
