Does this look like the correct factory front sight for an OM 45C?

No, it is not a factory front sight blade. And the front sight base may not be either. On blue guns, the base and sight blade are one piece. That on has a pinned in front blade of incorrect shape.

What I was thinking but wasn't sure.
Kind of made me think it may be a 7 1/2" bbl gun somebody cut.

Well it also has a rear Bowen sight, and if that box bottom is numbered to the gun, it has the original barrel. If not, and you had a photo of the muzzle, we might be able to tell if it's cut.
