resurrecting a dinosaur

I have a 3 screw old model black hawk. I have been trying to track down aftermarket trigger return springs but I keep coming up empty handed. Does anyone happen to know parts can be purchased?

Good idea Joe.

I just cut the old model original spring one coil at a time until I like it.

Awesome. I really appreciate the info! I've placed the order for the hammer and trigger springs. and they are on the way. Also, I never thought of ball point pen - it's a brilliant idea and I will try that too, for science of course

Works great but gotta find the right spring or it will get it too light.
