Replacement Front Sight for Service Six

Does anyone make a taller front sight for a Ruger Service Six. I have a 4 inch barreled Bicentennial .38 Special model that shoots majorly high (8 inches) at 25 yards with 158gr. factory ammo.

My Service Six factory front sight is a relatively low profile affair that I think is the main culprit here. I would like to put a taller sight in if possible. Do I have any options here? Does anyone still make a sight that I could have installed on my Service Six?

I have no intention of switching my ammo to a lighter bullet. A factory 4 inch barreled .38 Special should shoot relatively close to point of aim with 158gr. ammo.

You might try a pinned front sight from the Security Six................ it would be taller....................

I had that problem and I think I was able to purchase one from Ruger.
