Replacement Fiber Optic Insert for GP100 WC?

I just bought a used GP100 Wiley Clapp (1752) that was manufactured in 2013. It's been used but still has plenty of life left. One thing that could use a replacement is the fiber optic insert in the front sight. Does anyone know the correct insert for this that sight? I'd be fine with green or red, but doing it the right way with the right part would be nice. Thanks for any help!

Maybe try this. Started as a brass wood screw, 30 minutes later I had this. Used a 18 volt Makita drill, sandpaper and mill files. Also have made brass front sights for my 2020 Colt Python’s.

Thanks for the idea! I was thinking of replacing the front sight on my Mk IV hunter (don't like fiber sights), but a small 'gold' dot using a screw or a short brass rod might just work! Something to try anyway. Or, come to think of it, just paint the end of the fiber gold color to keep it 'small' dot :) .

I did some more research, and it looks like the inserts Ruger sells are for Hi-Viz sights. The sights on my WC are from Novak. I ordered some replacements directly from Novak and I'll see how they work out.

Be careful if you go the brass screw route. i picked up some that were actually plated steel. Carry a magnet with you to be sure.
i ended up buying a short piece of brass rod from Grainger.
