hi guys, Do the rubber Hogue GP-100/Super Redhawk grips on the Ruger site also fit the standard Redhawk? Mine is a late 80's with 5 in barrel in .44 mag (and no it's not for sale! hahaha)

I use the Uncle Mike's as well. They're the most comfortable grips I've found for the Redhawk.

I recommend the Pachmayer grips for the Redahwk over the Hogue. The pachs pad the backstrap better.

I agree. Not only do they not pad the backstrap but they just plain are shaped funny. I recently switched to pachs and could not be happier.

Another vote for Uncle Mike's. I tried the full-size Hogues, which were very comfortable to shoot but looked funny to me. Next I tried the Hogue Bantams, which looked really cool but didn't cover the frame completely and the recoil wasn't tamed as well. Then I tried the Uncle Mike's, which look good and absorb recoil very well.

Mine came with Uncle Mikes just like the ones shown. I couldn't be more unhappy with a revolver grip. They pinched during recoil due to the uneven seem of the moulding, and when they weren't pinching, they rubbed due to the rubber construction of the finger grooves. Grooves that I feel were inspired by the bumps on a pack of bratwurst!
I've still got them if anybody would like them. I can't even look at them!

I like the pachmayer presentation grips on the redhawk. No finger groves just a big hunk of rubber.

Huh , just recently bought the Uncle Mikes grips from Numrichs. Mine must be different ?? no finger grooves in mine. Resembles a Pach Presentation , but fits my hand better. I put them on but haven't tried them yet ....snows still a little deep at the back stop ..... :D
