I have a Redhawk in 44 mag, 4inch, with the Hogue grips Model 5026 on this link. Will a factory set of wooden Redhawk grips fit this gun?

I have since installed a set of Pachmayr Presentations, after 50 or so rounds of hot .44 those wood grips started to sting.

Thanks Stan,

Your pic in the other Redhawk post is what got me thinking I needed a set. I was just concerned though when you said "nicely redone" that maybe you had needed to do some fitting to get them to work properly.

No that actual grip wasn't altered, it's just that a guy who sells these on EBay refinished the set with an oil finish and added different medallions. Other than that, these wood grips will interchange with any other Redhawk ever made.

One note of caution, different stock Redhawk wood grips may fit differently on each gun. I put the set of factory woods from my late 80's production .357 Redhawk on this 4" from 2008, and they fit, but there was some "overhang" of the wood in some spots. These refinished grips fit perfectly. All of them will fit, some will fit better than others.
