What are 45 Redhawks selling for and will they handle the Blackhawk loads?

Don't know what they sell for, but they will handle "Blackhawk" loads and then some.
Typical Gunbroker prices are around $700 for the .45 variety
As for your questions about loads, it is the other way around. The Redhawk is a stronger gun than the Blackhawk. Anything the Blackhawk can digest can be shot in a Redhawk, but not necessarily the other way around......that being said, any load that would not be safe in a blackhawk is probably way overkill for anything in the lower 48.

The Redhawk in 45 Colt can take big heavy bullets going very fast.

I had all four chamberings in 5.5"; I found the 45 Colt Redhawk worked superbly with any load I developed (as long as bullet weight remained under 350g; the 360--400g choices were too heavy).
Best maximum loads used the 335g weight.

I am currently in possession of two. One sports a 5 1/2" barrel and the other is the "Hunter" model with 7 1/2" barrel.
It will handle any sane load that you want to put through it!
My light bullet is 285gr and my heavy is 335gr.

I bought mine here in Anchorage for $425. Just stumbled across it the first day it was in the case.
Online I have seen them as high as $700.

These are what I cast and run through mine.
Bullet on the far left is the RCBS 270 SAA. Weight is around 283 once sized and lubed.
The other two are from a custom mold. HP weighs in at 310gr and the solid is 335gr.

I had a Redhawk 45 colt hunter and sold it. I just like my Blackhawks and Vaqueros much better. Like others have said the Redhawk is a beast of a gun, but that is why I sold it. It's just too damn big for me. In my neck of the woods you can pick one up any day for $425-$525
NIB the 4" ones are pushing $800. I'll buy all the 4" and 5 1/2" I can get for $425- $525. Let me know.
