1990 vintage, got box and documents too plus original grips and the Herrets Shooting stars in the pic. Measured throats at .430, cylinder gap at .004 and end to end movement is .002. One of the tightest SBH I've owned. :D

It shoots very nice. I can keep them in 2 inches @25 yards if I don't shake to bad.... Standard factory ammo
 
The grips work fine for me. I have large hands and like the larger grip area and the heavy/deep checkering. No slipping of the hand on the grip, I do wear a golf glove when I shot larger cal. six gun. I use the over size rubber style too. But with high temps here in Az. and sweaty hands my grip slips some with the rubber type.
