Receiver sights-I love 'em
I've got receiver sights on all my Rugers except on my .22
The top rifle is a MKII .30-06, CRF with factory original sights and is drilled and tapped for a Williams Foolproof receiver sight like the one on the rifle pictured below it. I had it removed at the time this pic was taken.

Center rifle is the first stainless rifle I bought, a MKII 30-06 push feed, I think in the early 90's (poor memory!), before they were available with factory sights, so I purchased direct from Ruger a barrel band front which I installed along with the Foolproof shown mounted.

Now that the Scout rifle has appeared, I naturally had to have one of those too

Which Williams peep did you use? Do they make one specifically for the Ruger 77?

Yes, they do make one specifically for the Ruger 77. The Williams model number is FP-RU-77
Midway shows one but it's wrong. The proper one mounts on the right hand side of the receiver, not the left as shown here http://media.midwayusa.com/productimages/880x660/primary/719/719003.jpg

I kind of like the scout rifle without the flash hider.

Do you guys get the 10rd mag with your Scout rifles in Canada? I thought you were limited to 5rd. Not that it makes much difference with a bolt gun...

Yes, the 10 round mag is what it comes with. Mag capacity is unlimited with a bolt gun.
Centerfire semi-auto rifles have mags that are limited to 5rds.
Pistol mags are limited to 10 rds.
.22 rimfire is unlimited regardless of action type.
