I have a Ruger single six 22 I need a rear sight for it, It has a notch cut in the top of the receiver I bought one that you slide in from the side but it shoots way low at 10 yard's is there another option to put a higher one in the back If so where would I find on or do they make an adjustable on that fits in the notch the gun was built in the late 60's between 64 and 69

If you got a fixed rear sight model gun, then there was only one size that was made for them. Are you sure you got a Ruger rear sight?
Also, there was a company that made an adjustable rear sight,, but you had to use their front sight as well. Out of production,, & not sure if anybody is making anything currently.

There ya go. A taller rear sight could easily be made to correct the POI. If the front sight has a removable blade, a new shorter one would work. Otherwise the front can be filed down to raise the POI.
