Update on grip screw'd. I called Altamont, told them my plight and they are sending me some screws. They are 4 x 48 and they confirmed that the screw provided was "probably" too short? Yah. I also called Ruger online store and they are sending the grips back to me. I'm gonna go shoot guys, talk at ya later! BHK

I've bought [3] sets of grips for a SBH from Altamont & they all are too "fat' & fit poorly is this a problem with yours??...thanks

The grips I have purchased from them fit better than factory. This is way true on New Model SA. They also sen 3 screws of different lengths, not like some grips which send a long screw and you cut to fit. I have found the quality from Altamont outstanding. I do not work for them and have not interest in the company other than as a consumer!
