Re-chambering a M77

I have the oppurtunity to pick up a M77 in .270 cal. Is it possible to re-chamber to .270 Weatherby, a cartridge i really like?

I'd guess that the chamber dimensions would be less of a problem than the bolt face and receiver rails that form the feed lips of the magazine.

You can do anything with enough money, but rebarreling a Ruger that was originally in a long magnum caliber would be easier.
