Aint They cute!!! Who made them? Thks for posting pics!! Did they do FT’s also?

one lives "did" in delta junction Alaska. held it a few times. had the mini ammo box too. that guy died a few years ago. unsure where is is now.
I spoke to my dad today about the one in Delta Junction. From what he can recall the man who had it wanted $7,000 for it in the early 2000s. The serial number was #14.

I apologize for adding discussion to a Classified ad, but… 😇

The hammer on the miniature shown looks like an Old Army hammer.

Is that also what the hammer looks like on the Hawkeye?
(I’ve never seen a Hawkeye, “in the flesh.”)

Not exactly the same hammer. I recall picking up a couple of what I thought to be Old Army hammers 15-20 years ago only to find out they were actually Hawkeye hammers. The length/angle of the striking protuberance on the front is different, the Old Army one is longer and more pointed. And the Old Army has the same notch configuration as the other hammers whereas I the Hawkeye doesn't have the safety notch since it is striker fired but a "not quite half-cock" notch to get things out of the way to open the breech block. The Hawkeye doesn't have a cylinder stop, so that spring loaded plunger is not needed. I did this pic a long time ago and think that is a Hawkeye on the left:

Hawkeye, Super Blackhawk, large frame Blackhawk, .357 Blackhawk, Single Six, Super Single Six, Bearcat

I searched and found a 2003 post from westerville who was selling some Old Army parts and this deleted photobucket image was still visible:

That at least shows the difference between the Hawkeye hammer.
