Rare Single Six 17 HMR Duplicate

Glassman, .32 got me thinking and I looked in my notes I do have a factory used gun it has the "*" asterisk. Serial number is
*650-43950 model KSSMBH-4F. Its new in the box... It is listed in Chads notes.... not for sale....
A BLEM would be like a factory second or "S" gun.

Rick:
It would be interesting to see how your gun letters.
The "D" guns are often set aside until a group could be sent out, so during this era Ruger may have put that blemish stamp on the label just because there was something "different" about it (the fact that it was a duplicate) rather than being a true used gun.

My "D" marked GP100 has the D stamped backwards .... or up-side-down depending on how you look at it.

I can't say for that gun but right now we get boxes marked blemish or used. Sometimes you can find the blemish sometimes you can't
