Mr Workman sir, if this is worth a buck fitty, what's the "Robbed from …" lighter worth, roughly?
And how many offered?
And was it a Zippo or different manufacture?

I don't know if there was another one in Bill Ruger's desk, but I bought a bunch of the stuff that was, and this was the lighter that he had in his desk:

Jack Knode was an exec at Savage and a good friend of Bill Ruger. One of them certainly inspired the other.

Bob,
Rod showed me the lighter and a couple of pens that as I understood it came from WBR's desk.
I might be wrong, I'll check with Rod, seeing as he is still not on the forum.

Thanks for sharing the info on Jack Knode, another bit of Ruger collector info.
Terry
