Very good at what she did. RIP
Just looked it up, she was 82. I was a young kid and went to the theatre to see One Million Years BC. What an eye opening experience for this young boy. Thanks for the memories Raquel and RIP.
RIP, Racquel Welch, though known for her heart throbbing scenes in bikini’s, she refused to do nude scenes. She will be missed!

Where did our "youth" go. We were all pretty once-like Animal Farm "some just prettier than others". Annette Funicello when I was 12 and Racquel when I was 19.

When Bob Hope came to perform for the 101st Airborne in '70, I was disappointed that Raquel Welch was not part of the show. She was something special.
First I heard of her was when I watched "Fathom" with my brother at the theater.

Class act. My dad worked some of her shows back in the days of live TV. They were having a problem keeping her in one outfit. The puppies kept coming out to play. Dad was the one with the double sided sticky tape on his belt. Air time. He got the job of taping her in. Like being told to adjust Mt Rushmore. Don't mess it up!

Remember y Dad taking me to see this at a drive in around 68 or 69. Double feature. Second movie was The Night of the Living Dead. He wanted to go home after Raquel was on and I begged him to stay for the second one. I was 10 or 11 at the time. Raquel was WOW!
Hanny Caulder was on TV last night. Raquel and Robert Culp--nice pair. Those skin tight leather pants weren't bad, either.
