Try 10 grains of Unique or Universal Clays under a 240 LSWC, or 250 Keith (available from places like Magnus Bullet or Leadheads). The Universal Clays load under the 250 gr. Keith does about 1170 fps out of my 7.5 SBH Hunter, shoots under 1.5" at 25 yards off bags, and is easy on the hands and nerves. This is a good "still a magnum, but easy to shoot" load.

Your H-110 load is also good for full bore stuff. I've used 23-24 grains under the 250 grain lead Keith with good results as well.

Also, Alliant's 2400 is a good magnum powder that doesn't need a magnum primer. It can actually be reduced a bit, unlike H-110, so you don't need to run it full out. 20 to 21 grains under a 240 to 250 grain lead bullet is top end, couple of grains less gets you in the mid-range.

I have no experience with IMR 4227 but I believe it works good with heavy bullets. The old standard of 23-24gr of H-110/296 with a 240gr jacketed bullet is hard to beat. You didn't say what bullet you want to use or what power level/velocity you are looking for. I don't like the fast powders you mentioned in the 44mag unless it is cowboy type loads.

My favorite reduced load in the 44mag for accuracy now is 15-19gr of Accurate #9 behind a 240gr XTP bullet, WLP primer. The max for that load is 19.8gr. I think you will be pleased with that. Lead bullets can be substituted with caution.
