Wow, that's a lot of scope for such a rifle. I'm not dissing your choice. We all have our wants/needs/expectations of our rifles and mine goes a different direction.My RAR Grendel is intended to be a short, mid-weight suppressor host that is adequate for deer to around 250 yards--nothing more. It's expected to be a bit more effectively suppressed and lower recoil than the 6.5 Cr while retaining sufficient energy and terminal performance to ensure a short follow up. I would actually prefer a 6.8 SPC but ain't no such critter that I know of so here we are.
The latest bench test shows accuracy improvement to a level I'm OK with (still hopeful of future improvement).
