How cool is that????? Wonder if there's a rifle scabbard on the other side? I'd sure like to see that whole bike.
I even like the color and the painted rim makes it look sort of antiquey.
Back when I had my 55 chopped pan head I knew another guy with an old knuckle head. His whole bike looked antique. For a tail light he had one of those old brass bodied carbide miners lights that used to hook to their helmets. He had some other type of antique lantern thing used as a head light also. His wiring was also uniquely done. I remember that it was not just straight wire. He twisted it around something like a large pencil then pulled it out slightly so it still had the coils in it. It really looked cool. This was back around 1963 when you did a custom bike you made custom parts yourself. An extended springer was just that....a springer that was cut with flattened pipe used to extend it and then filled in with weld.
Unfortunately while on a sight seeing tour in a place called Viet Nam someone broke into my garage and relieved me of my bike. Sadly I never got another.

A couple friends and I were at that motorcycle shop a week ago. Went to a gun show also. Petted moe, seen Rods barn (man what a barn) saw his fish pond, got a ride in his grand cherokee up the dirt pile from the pond, down to the creek (almost in the creek) he thought he could scare us N.D. boys. Did'nt happen!! His lovely wife grilled us steaks, Very very delicious. Thanks again Kathy.
Met Rods son & father and a bunch of there friends. We had a very good time. The gun show was awesome. I am sure we will be back, as its only a short thousand miles.

Really nice and cool but the two times I needed mine I would have to get off the throttle. To me REALLY COOL on the left side. I had a left-hand holster made and I keep one in the handle bar bag. But man I like it!
