Spending the weekend with the Radical one can be a dangerous affair, at least when one has to handle 52 cats in one set-up    . The pictures turned out horrible but here are a few that were OK I guess, camera phones suck.

We were represented well at the OGCA Display show this weekend by Rod, Job well done

Thanks Dan......forgot my camera as usual......heard lots of BC stories about how they got one for their first gun......the guy across the isle displayed 2 of 3 made silver plated and engraved Savage auto pistol.....not one guy came up and said he had one of those as a kid    see ya RR.

Once again, RR has put out a truly superb display.
I have had the pleasure of seeing many of RR's guns, and I can say that I'm sure that the pics don't do this display justice. (No offense Dan,) Rod really does put a lot into his displays.

I heard a story of a sighting of a big bearcat box going down the highway on the roof of a corvette I should have known RR was at it again very nice display Rod

The display was even more impressive in person. All those nice 'Cats, each on its own neat little bent brass cylinder hook, lined up for all to see . . . wonderful.

And that "box" . . . frosting on the cake.

Great work, Rod.

:)

Radical, Dick S. was there and said your BC display was very impressive. Thanks for sharing your goodies.
Doug

Thanks guys I had fun and I got to hang out with Dan M all weekend    Dan, Bill H, and myself went to the OGCA awards banquet and heard Wayne LaPiere give a good speech after an awesome meal.....the OGCA really goes all out and we were celebrating our 75th year....I even stumbled upon a couple of good guns.....not as good as some found but I am happy    all in all a good time.....I will be bringing the CATS to Tulsa....all 52 of them    see ya RR.

Just got home and wanted to 'thank Rod, for the nice job, well done, it was an awesome assortment of Bearcats, neat stuff..good to see you Dan, its been a while.......
all in all a very GOOD show, all around as usual......................

Yes it was great to see some of the old friends like Dan and getting to meet some new ones, Sorry I missed you Ale-8(1) but am sure we will meet again in the future. Also enjoyed meeting tommygun and we had a few great laughs with Rod and his usual pranks and stories. Dan do you ever get a bad spot in that show? Saw a great variety of Rugers for sale, the 10" Hawkeye for $1200 tempted me but I came to my senses and walked away.

All in All I had a great show and will try and post some more pictures this next few days (if they came out.

a special Thanks to Rod and Cathy for putting up with me this week, better friends could not be had. :D :D :D

Dan

WOW :!: RR that is some more box 8) 8) I see the stands worked out fine,if I had showed up ---knowing myself might have knock a pair to the floor by ACCIDENT  good thing I didn't make it to the show :P

Dan, I'm sorry to have missed you, as well. I saw your pictures of Rod's display and jumped in the car to see it "in person". Impressive, indeed.

I did get to meet tommygun at Rugerguy's setup. A pleasure.

Was only there for about an hour. As you say, another time.

Heckuva show, as usual.

:)

Rod's display of Cats was indeed something to behold!! Just outstanding! Then y'all should have seen him and Dan trying to fit em all back into that great big ole box....all had their own special sock!! :D

Hey Dan, where my tables are,, "used" to be half way down the show, then they remodeled and put the entrance almost right in front of my tables, hell no I ain't gonna MOVE....BUT its' way too busy there and makes for a difficult time trying to watch the tables and whats coming in the door, but they usually come over and "see" me first anyway,so no problem...wish you could have stopped by and sat for a spell and "see" what comes by...no that 10 inch Hawkeye is a "project gun, has three barrels and the original one needs to be welded up and completely redone, remarked and everything,BUT if some one wanted a shooter, in three different calibers, HHHMMMM< makes it tempting, nah I'll pass ( have passed for over a year now!!!) 8)
anyway was Great to "see" all you guys, just wish we could have gotten together.....................all like ships "Passing in the night...."

Rod you better not let Drake see these. I already saw him eyeballing the vette in Tulsa last year. This would give him something to fill the trunk with!!

Very..very nice. Between you and a few others it is a wonder there are any 'cats left for the rest of us.

You should bring this to Tulsa this year!!

Dave

Dave, the cats will stay loaded in the box awaiting the fall trip to T Town....lots of good Cats left....they made a bunch.....RR.

Hey Double Auto, I gave Dick a hard time why if it wasn't for him I wouldn't have chased the number 24 cats....I didn't see the auction listing and I saw him at the COON CHASE where he asked if I was going to go after them....well YES I AM now that I know about them    I tell him he cost me a LOT OF MONEY    There is maybe 4 or 5 BCs that I would still like to acquire but these may have to do.....see ya RR.

What a great Bearcat display, Rod edumacated me about cats, unfortunately now I want one. Maybe I can trade off some SS's or 10/22's. Hopefully his serial number fetish isn't contagious.
