R.O.A Holster ????

Both my left and right "slim jim" holsters I had custom made in 1999 for my "Old Model" Vaquero 5-1/2" barreled S/A revolvers also fit my pair of 5-1/2" barreled ROA's. The original holster maker is no longer in business.
All my "slim jim" holsters are/were used for Cowboy Action Shooting competition.
I would look for vendors who make Ruger Vaquero hosters.

What about a 'flap' holster for the ROA? I like the look of them and the
protective nature. I know that back in the day Ruger sold them with
the eagle on it but now they are ridiculous in price on ebay. I don't care
about the eagle, just want the flap.

For a flap holster I would try El Paso Saddlery.

I checked out El Paso and they do not have a flap holster for the ROA.
They sure do have a lot of nice other leather though!

Can find holsters for Ruger Old Army at Cabelas...."slim jim" strongside or crossdraw.....better quailty than price would suggest .....20 bucks....and Triple K...also from Cabelas..and many other online sites....for 40 bucks or so......
I've had luck using a "Duke" style holster sized for a Ruger Vaquero. With water, a plastic bag and some wet molding it fit fine. I have also made my own and had them made for me.

Oh... also the Oklahoma Leather slim jims work too and are pretty cheap to buy. They can be had at Cabelas
