Quora questions....

I get into the Quora postings often, and find some pretty far out questions, such as:

What kind of poison is used in bullets, and why?

And my response:

Lead. Because its the best metal available that provides sufficient weight, ease of melting for casting, and holds its shape as cast for a long time so it is easily stored for years if need be. Absorbing great quantities of lead is fatal, especially if absorbed at great velocities and injected in vital areas of the body.

It is a FaceBook type of site in which folks pose questions and get answers from folks supposedly knowledgeable in given fields. Fields include firearms, metals; just general knowledge subjects.

You should have added that lead is a NATURAL substance,, found in the earth,, and is only poisonous when mis-used,, or delivered in a fashion as described.
