Question about 77/22mag

I just traded into a all weather 77/22mag -the grey stainles /laminated stock one.
Along with it I got a sporter wt barrel .
Question : will the reciver fit a stanard 77/22mag stock ? And if so where can I find a wood stock ?

I have the same gun. Maybe check Gunbroker and the folks at rimfirecentral.com. I would think it would fit, off the same size barreled action.

It should fit without any trouble, but you'll have to find a trigger guard because they were molded into the stock on the synthetic guns.

He said his is laminated not synthetic,and yes the receivers and trigger groups are the same, just have a different (target gray) finish.
