Problem? with my Bearcat

I have a New Model Bearcat. Beautiful gun. But, in order to rotate the cylinder by hand I must pull the hammer back Verrry slowly to the first click and STOP. If I pull it back a fraction of a mm farther the bolt pops up and blocks the cylinder from turning. Is this normal or is it something I should be concerned about.

THAT is what the half-cock position is for, loading the pistol, unloading the pistol.

Mine isn't that sensitive, call Ruger and descibe it to them. It should just go to 1/2 cock and not any further until you make a definate movement of the hammer.
