Problem Fox

Designed by artist Alexander Sturm . . . yes that Sturm, the guy who financed the creation of the Sturm, Ruger Company and designed the original "eagle" trademark.

Problem Fox was also the title of a children's book written and illustrated by Sturm, which may be what is referred to above. The little statuette represents the book's subject character.

At 3 bids it is over a thousand dollars....must be an acquired taste......

Somehow I don't think this made the RENE list! :)

Anyone ever seen one for sale in recent memory and care to say what it sold for. I realize that may be an improper question but this is such a curiosity. Just thought I'd ask.

Yes, interesting indeed. I figured it would either stay in the low $1000s or be mid to high $2000s.

Evidently not enough people with any interest in them. Although I would guess that current events are weighing heavily on current spending.

They sure are cool...

He now resides in central Ohio.

Mystery solved.
KUDOS on getting it. Miss Penny wants one,, and gave it some thought. But she felt is wasn't what she wanted to spend on one.
Glad it went to a good home!

Thanks Wood,
All is fine here, have not set up at Mansfield show since January 2020. Missed both Glenmont and Ashland's two shows also.

Ashland has it's show this week-end Feb. 20 & 21. Hoping to make Glenmont in April !
