From my local gun shop.

Picked it up today. Have disassembled it and found no markings on it, except for the underside of the barrel, which is shown below, and the inside of the lock, which is an L&R.

Here it is...

Sharon Barrels made these hawken kits back in the 1970's. They were very high quality components. Not sure the L&R Lock would have been original to the gun but L&R locks are also high quality components. I've used them on several of the rifles I've built.

Looks like this one was put together well. The Sharon's I've shot were quite accurate.

Nice find.

Hi Nice snag I used a Sharon barrel on a gun I built in the 70s 1 1/8 at the breach 1 at the muzzle they have deep rifleling 18 thousants it took about 400 shots to break it in . It is very accurate I use to shoot a lot of matches and won or placed in every match until my eyes started to fail . Also that is a very good lock

Really neat find, Your L&R is original, I have a 50 cal Full Stock that I have owned since the early 80's, I keep working on it here and there.
I sure would like to see a picture of your Barrel Lugs & Rear Sight.

THANKS !!

I have the same Lugs and still in ponder in how I want to attach them.
Do you think yours are Tig, Mig, Solder, ??

I'd steer clear of MIG or TIG since these might introduce enough shrinkage to effect the barrel straightness. Silver solder will work without shrinkage -- and soft solder may be strong enough. I can't see the pic' of the lugs very well, but some were staked on.
