Found a beautiful MKII Compact in 7mm-08 at Ganders a couple days ago, with a Bushnell Banner scope in the rings, magnification unknown but assumed 3-9x.
The wood was very nice and the rifle seemed pristine in all other respects.
The tag said $500 and even though it was my birthday, I walked.
What do you think would be a good price, assuming Gander won't separate the scope and sell just the rifle?
