LGS is asking $650.

I think it is a fair price, but not a great price.

A 44 mag revolver would be a 'fun to have' acquisition, at the right price.

That "seems" about $100.00 too high to me. However ...... can't remember the last time I saw one for sale locally. There's several on GunBroker.com but few have bids. Looking at Ruger's web site MSRP is now over $1,000.00 :shock:

If you like it, want it and can afford it ...... nothing else matters!

Yes, a fair price if it is about max it should sell for IMHO .
I ordered two RedHawks in the last month. With local tax and transfer fee they ended up at just under $900 each.

I continue to be surprised at the "reasonable" new/used prices for Ruger Redhawks, especially compared to S&W 629's. I have both, and can't for the life of me understand why the S&W's are so much more expensive. I love my Redhawk - it is one stout revolver.

I'll bet you would have a hard time finding 2 or 3 at that price. Most will be higher. Harder to find gun. I'd say it's fair, if at the top of fair. Find one cheaper. Might take more than a while.

That is about the going rate for a NIB specimen here in the Middle West. Hard to find sometimes in the 5.5-inch barrel.....I'd say "buy it".

I just skimmed through 7 pages on armslist and found 2 5.5 inchers. One in Montana and one in North Carolina. Both are asking $700. You might be able to beat either of them down on the price but you would still be looking at shipping and paperwork costing at least $50. If you have one in your own backyard, I would go get it and put a :D on your face.
