Powder actually burned!

It's been months since I've had the chance to do any shooting. Between job and lower back issues, the opportunity just hasn't been there and the withdrawal symptoms were getting bad...

Last sunday morning however, a good friend and his son showed up at my door itching to go shooting with an OM .357 but no ammo for it. I remedied their situation and tagged along with my .45 BH.

We got the .357 hitting where it was looking and then commenced turning rocks into gravel with my .45 load of 22 grs 296 under a cast 280 gr MP hollowpoint. Put a look of awe on their faces (neither being familiar with stout bigbores) and a big smile on mine...

All is right with the world again... 8)

Last weekend we did some shooting also darn cold tho. My friends son
was back from Afghanistan came over with his girl friend and another young
couple. The two girls have never ever fired a gun, we fixed that in a hurry.
Smiles holy cow did they enjoy that Ashley was actually a pretty good shot we had a ball. ps

That's a good bullet and a satisfying load. I like shooting that one and knocking the dust off the ceiling panels at the indoor range.

Every Thursday, 3 pm, indoor range for "range therapy". Works great!

It was a beautiful day in middle Tn today. Took out my Charter Arms Bulldog and put some lead down range. Also emptied the LCP and both magazines. Yep all is right in my world
