Acquired some cast bullets that are "polycoated". Any experience with re-cycling the lead? Some of our members here at our indoor range gather up the lead from the trap and I am curious if the polycoat remnants will be a problem.
Just do as usual, melt it down outdoors, using a small amount of PC at a time added to your other reclaimed lead. It does give off some smoke but as long as you have the normal ventilation you're good to go, I've done quite a bit of it.
