1) 38 Spl. Lots of bullet weights and styles (125 to 158 grains and wadcutter to SJHP)
2) S&W J vs. LCR is your preference.
3) 6 x 32s vs. 5 x 38/9mm. Yeah the 38/9 is bigger than the 32 but just remember in WWII millions of men with everything from 30'06 rifles to tanks and bomber planes were sent out to kill Hitler but it took a 32 auto to do him in.

1) 9mm or 38 Spl in a snubbie?

2) SW 940 or Ruger LCR ?

3) Would you prefer 6 rounds of 32H&R over 9mm or 38 spl?
1) 38 Spl - there are times my CCW is a Taurus CH85.
2) Neither. If I was going to CCW using moon clips I'd go with my S&W 610.
3) I'll take my SP101 in 32 H&R.

1. 38 spl.
2. Ruger Police Service Six Snub
3. No need for an alternate.
My choice... Hit 'em hard

1) I have both. If limited to one, maybe 9mm.
After getting a 9mm snub, I find I practice a lot more since 9mm ammo is almost always with me at the range.

2) Ruger LCR.
It looks like hell, but it has a smoother trigger and slightly better sights.
The new 940 with the UC treatment fixes the sights. We’ll see about the trigger.
I’ve heard a lot of reports about case setback in the 940s, though.

3) Since the existence of the .32 H&R, people have made the comparison and I’ve thought it silly. Now I can see six .32s as legitimate at the very least.
I have said for a while that many, if not most, .38 snub owners would be better served with a .32 Mag.

The 9mm in full moon clips has been ideal during qualification. Very fast reloads.

The LCR uses moon clips that are thinner than those used in the SP101 and 940. Not a fan.

When I first seen this thread about revolvers, I just offhandedly thought a 6-shot 327 over a 5-shot 38+P. Looking at the Buffalo Bore website comparing heavy loaded 3" 327 mag to a 3" 38+P outdoor it reinforces that. The 327 hits harder, penetrates deeper and has one more round. 130 gn 327 has a SD of 191 and 481 ft/lbs of energy vs a 38+P with a SD of 177 and 434 ft/lbs of energy. I don't carry a revolver but the 327 6-shot looks good.
