Pink plinker

I love my SR-22 and would love to get my wife to shoot more as well (builds self defense confidence and, let's face it, if she shoots, these no complaining about my shooting budget).

I was looking for a pink grip for her, to justify me buying another gun and I came across this:

She coesn't say much about where it was done or what it cost, but I'd love to hear from everyone here, what do you think? Anyone have experience painting a gun? Cost, durability, will Ruger still take care of any problems you have with a mod like this? Is that paint or a powder coat?

I think she would seriously love this but I don't even want to show it to her till I know more.

Looks factory to me, Ruger has done a few colors in the LCP as I recall. This could be a distributor exclusive.

That's got to be it, thanks for the link.

Now she just needs to choose if we go gun or bow for her. Bow has been the "family" activity so far. The kids love it, but I'm really starting to enjoy the pistol.

Miss Penny loves her Raspberry LCP, AND her Lilac SR-22. Many of the ladies in our WOT clinics enjoy them too! Nothing wrong with making the ladies happy.
